Home to Home is Early Bird's service for deliveries between individuals, ideal for second-hand marketplaces that want to offer a convenient experience for both sellers and buyers. The parcel is collected without a label directly from the sender during the night and delivered all the way to the recipient's door or mailbox. As with our other services, parcels travel with newspaper carriers along routes that are already running, allowing vehicles and resources to be used more efficiently. Collection can be booked until 22:00 for collection that same night, and the parcel can be tracked throughout. Convenient, secure and sustainable.

Senders living in a detached or terraced house should place the parcel in or beside the mailbox, as our carriers are not permitted to approach the door. Senders living in a flat should place the parcel where it is clearly visible outside the door.
Both sender and recipient receive notifications by email and SMS during the parcel's journey. The parcel can be tracked on Early Bird's tracking page using the tracking number.
If the parcel cannot be collected, another attempt is made the following night. The sender is notified of an unsuccessful collection by email or SMS. If delivery to the recipient cannot be completed, the applicable fallback procedure is followed.
